Confidence…Prompt Answer…
How would you rate your confidence level?
I am usually a confident person, but it depends on what I am doing. For example, when I served in the military I had a great deal of confidence in my skills and job competence. In the words of one Sergeant Major, “You’re the most arrogant person I have ever met.” Of course, that was his statement after I destroyed his Staff Sergeant at the board.
However, if you tell me to build you a stone house, my confidence falls, mainly because I am not a stone mason or carpenter. Still, even today I remain a mostly confident individual.
I am a good ole country boy residing in North Mississippi. I love to read, fish, hunt, hike and go to garage sales. Flea markets are a passion of mine. I read anything, but some of my favorites are: Dean Koontz, Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, T.S. Eliot, Shakespeare, and I possess a fondness for the writings of William Faulkner and Mark Twain. If I am forced to choose, I prefer baseball to football. I enjoy Alabama football (Roll Tide)! My baseball teams include: The Colorado Rockies and Boston Red Sox.
I am divorced, the father of two daughters and live by myself with Chunk and Roscoe (my dogs).
I’m a retired soldier. Writer and full – time coffee addict. I was born and raised in Mississippi, and I joined the Army at 28 for a life of adventure and travel. Interests include: Reading, walking my two pups, Casanova and Chunk, spending time with my wife Chassidy, and trying to pen the next great American novel. I am on Instagram under Freeman’s Front Porch Musings. I sometimes do Twitter under LarryF7371.
